The 21st Century Classroom goes beyond basic technology competence and will incorporate the skills and knowledge that students require to learn effectively and live productively in an increasingly digital society. Learn how to provide students with productive learning experiences to demonstrate their abilities in the following areas:

• creativity and innovation
• communication and collaboration
• conduct research and use information
• think critically, solve problems, and make decisions
• practice digital citizenship
• use technology effectively and productively

All participants will be required to implement an activity using the material from the workshop in their own classroom
or create a lesson plan showing how they would use the material from the workshop in their classroom. After they have
implemented the activity in their classroom, participants will write and submit a reflective paper evaluating
instructional strategies used and what was learned from the experience as a whole.
